Haiti Needs Our Response!
The Nation of Haiti has sustained great devastation and loss of life in the aftermath of the earthquake there on January 12th. Although suffering is a daily struggle for this nation, they need the help and compassion of others more than ever. Even before the quake, the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) was in Haiti working to relieve severe health issues. Sadly, the Director of UMCOR, the Reverend Sam Dixon, was killed in a collapse. Several other United Methodist workers were also killed or injured. UMCOR will continue to send workers and monetary aid to assist in the recovery and rebuilding efforts. More than anything else, they need financial support and our prayers for strength, wisdom, and a non-violent rebuilding of the nation. 100% of your donation to UMCOR goes directly to Haitian Relief. There are NO ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS! Please click on the links below for more information and to donate. May God bless you and bless the Haitian People in their recovery. Pastor Hillary
