Chancel Choir
Chancel Choir | Handbell Choir | Programs
The Chancel Choir (adult choir) sings at the 10:00 a.m. service each Sunday from September through May; special services and concerts, sometimes with the addition of instrumentalists. The repertoire encompasses all traditional-classical periods of church music from the 16th through the 20th centuries as well as music from the Unted Methodist supplement “Faith We Sing”. New members are always welcome.
The Bernardsville United Methodist Church has a long tradition of having a professional quartet as the core for the choir. Currently the 2010 – 2011 quartet members are:
Audrey Kline – Soprano – Audrey is a second year graduate student at Westminster Choir College of Rider University
Meredyth Morrison – Mezzo Soprano – Meredyth is a 2011 graduate of Westminster Choir College of Rider University.
Edward Lafean - Tenor – Ed is from the Basking Ridge community.
William Vallandigham - Baritone – Will is a second year graduate student at Westminster Choir College of Rider University.
Rehearsals: Thursday 7:45 p.m. – 9:15 p.m.
