Ganta - Liberia

BUMC parishioner Gail Granowitz went on a short term mission trip to the Ganta United Methodist Mission Station as an anesthesiologist. In addition to participating in life saving operations, she helped raise money to send an African student to school to learn anesthesiology. Upon graduation, he has agreed to return to serve at Ganta and to train additional anesthesiologists: A help up, not a hand-out.
